Light, noise, food, movement, landscape, social context and rhythm continuously shape human state.
Most modern environments are built for throughput, convenience and stimulation. Very few are designed around attention, sleep, recovery, nourishment, movement and meaningful work.
The environment is not background. It is an input.
Designed differently

These are not amenities. They are the conditions we are designing around, and they only work as a system.
Nature
Landscape, vegetation, air and distance give the body a different set of cues than a city does.
Movement
Walking, terrain and outdoor life belong to the day, not to a break from it.

Food from this climate, eaten at a human pace, with room to sit.
Recovery
Sleep, quiet and the absence of unnecessary stimulation are treated as infrastructure.

A day with a beginning, a middle and an end. Not a continuous feed.
What happens here
Three ways Málaga Haus will be used.
The program will grow with the property. These are intended uses, not a catalogue of dates or rooms.

Selected Breathing Flame and Human OS experiences designed to make use of the environment itself.
Partner experiences
Retreats and programs brought by selected facilitators and operators who already know what they want to create.
Private gatherings
Leadership groups, founder gatherings, offsites, residencies, small teams and other curated uses.
Geography
Near Málaga. Far enough away.
The countryside around Málaga offers a particular combination: Mediterranean light, food culture, outdoor life and landscape, with an international city and airport still within practical reach.
Close enough to arrive without friction. Far enough away for the environment to register.
The location is being chosen for what it allows the place to do.
Building in public
Málaga Haus starts before the property does.
Costa Verde is currently searching for the rural property near Málaga that will become Málaga Haus.
Rather than disappear until the doors open, we are making the process visible: the search, the acquisition, the design decisions, the operating principles and the eventual transformation of the site.
For now, Málaga Haus is one place. The work is to make it the right one.
Collaborators
The place does not need us to invent everything that happens inside it.
Málaga Haus will host programs we create and programs brought by people already doing strong work.
We are interested in facilitators, retreat leaders, coaches, founders, organizations and operators who bring a strong program, an audience or the capability to produce the experience well.
We favour aligned partnership models over conventional venue hire. Strong operators bring the program and distribution. Costa Verde provides the place and operating environment.
